Natural Born Kèla is a five song EP, (six if you count the "Jonestown Massacre" single only available via digital stores such as iTunes), inspired by the movie Natural Born Killers. Although, unlike the movie, each song on the EP is based on non-fictional, famous murders. Fun thing to do while listening to the album: Try to guess who each song is about before looking at the track list!

"I was unemployed while I was writing these songs, and I was home watching the ID Channel and crime shows like CSI and Criminal Minds. I was in a darker place than usual, I thought my glass was half full. I actually wrote the last track the day after I started my new job. Things were finally looking less gory. I realized my time at home could have been worse, I could have been dead... Unemployment wasn't even an issue when watching what the families and loved ones of people I sing about had to go through. Looking back I realize the bad times weren't bad times at all... Had I been employed I wouldn't have had the time to sit down and focus on my music. This tape might have never been created or thought of. So you see, the message of this project is when life gives you lemons, you can do more than make lemonade... because what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Without further ado I present to you... MY LEMONADE!" - Kèla
